What is Acrobat Reader & PDF?
With free Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® software, you can view and print Adobe PDF files across a broad range of hardware and operating systems. PDF stands for "Portable Document Format" & has become one of the standards for web documents.
Want to save the file instead?
By default, newer versions of Acrobat Reader will open the document (PDF file) within the web browser window. If you prefer to download & save the file, instead of clicking on it directly - right click on the link & choose "Save Target As.." This will open up a dialog box prompting you for a location on your computer to save the file. Choose a location & hit save. Once the file has completed downloading, then you can locate it & open.
Don't have Acrobat Reader?
First off you will need to go to Adobe's website to obtain their free Acrobat Reader software, to do this:
1) Click on the Get Adobe button above, or go
here.
2) Scroll down & choose the Free Reader.
3) Select your Language & Operating System
(Win9x, 2000, XP, Linux, Apple, etc).
4) Hit download & choose to either open or save the file.
5) Finally you will be prompted for the software installation, follow the instructions.
